Q Restaurant is a family-owned

Asian fusion restaurant featuring authentic Vietnamese and Thai cuisines with French influences on the plate, and simultaneously offers a plethora of boutique martinis, fine wines and spirits for perfect pairings with each menu item.

The restaurant opened its doors on July 11, 2013 and since that day has been winning hearts, minds, and tastebuds throughout the greater Chicago southland.  Its name is a tip-of-the hat to the names of sisters Quee and Quan (Ellie) whose talents are brought to bear in every aspect of the restaurant’s concept. 

Quee’s kitchen creations are a product of her early years learning from her father and grandfather as she grew up in Vietnam, which translates into a fealty to traditional flavors with a modern twist to appeal to contemporary audiences.   After coming to the United States, both sisters worked at Siam Marina in Calumet City, learning from their Aunt Tammy how to prepare traditional Thai recipes.  And it was there that Quee met and eventually married Arturo, the third member of the family ownership team who can now be found in the kitchen, and/or on the floor.  Ellie’s gifts shine in mixology, creating unique blends of sprits and botanicals that delight the senses.
